Les verbes à particule sont les combinaisons que les natifs utilisent constamment — et que les apprenants avancés évitent car ils semblent imprévisibles. Ils ne le sont pas. Apprenez-les par catégorie et en contexte, et ils deviennent une seconde nature.
Comment ils fonctionnent
Un verbe à particule est un verbe combiné avec une préposition ou un adverbe (particule) qui crée un sens nouveau, différent du verbe d'origine.
Le même verbe de base, trois sens complètement différents — la particule change tout.
